SC suspends work in Manila courts

MANILA, Philippines—Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno has suspended works in all courts in Manila starting at 2 p.m. due to traffic congestion brought about by the Feast of Black Nazarene.

“As per directive of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, due to the traffic congestion caused by the Feast of the Black Nazarene, work in all courts in the Manila area are suspended as of 2pm,” the high court’s public information office announced.
