Pff to send referees to fifa seminar

REFEREES affiliated with the Cebu Football Association (CFA) will have something to look forward to early this year as three of them will be sent to attend a Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) seminar to be hosted by Bacolod and organized by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF).

CFA referees committee head Rodney Orale said that he will be choosing three referees to represent CFA as requested by PFF to the FIFA seminar.

According to Orale, the seminar was supposed to happen last December but it was rescheduled to February.

The referee committee head said he is reserving one slot for Michael Culibra, whom he said is highly recommended among the referees here. He said that Culibra has already earned the National 1 status but he got deactivated during the faction of referees last year.

He is urging all the referees to be diligent in attending the regular training—physical fitness and endurance at the Cebu City Sports Center every Tuesday and Thursday under Allan Nunez./CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
