Korean hurt in rob try

A 28-YEAR-OLD Korean was stabbed and wounded by two of his compatriots who allegedly tried to rob him in barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City.

Jun Beoh Jun Ku sustained stab wounds in the body, hands and face.

He told police the he came from a bar and was walking home past 4 a.m. Thursday when the two Koreans armed with knives blocked his path and declared a hold-up.

Jun resisted and wrestled with his attackers.

The victim recognized his attackers as Koreans because of the language they spoke, SPO4 Ernesto Panaligan of the theft and robbery section of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said.

Jun was able to escape from his attackers and ran back to the bar.

The Korean’s girlfriend, who was in the bar, brought the victim to the Perpetual Succour Hospital.

The attackers fled to an unknown direction, police said.
