BJMP NegOr accepts applicants for jail officers

THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) is in need of more than 500 jail officers.

Jail Insp. Rosalina Malahay of BJMP Negros Oriental said her office is now accepting applications for additional jail officers to fill up the vacancies in the BJMP.

Applicants must be a college graduate with civil service and penology exam officer eligibility, at least 5’4” in height for male and 5’2” for female, and 21 to 30 years old.

Application requirements include neuro-psychology exam results, college diploma, birth certificate or marriage certificate from the National Statistics Office.

Interested individuals may submit their applications to the BJMP provincial office on the second floor of the Bureau of Fire, near Macias Sports Center, Capitol Area, Dumaguete City.
