Man accused of raping daughter
A 32-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his 12-year-old daughter in barangay Bago, Asturias town, western Cebu.
The father was drunk when the alleged abuse took place inside their house around 4 a.m. last Saturday, PO2 Cesar Climaco of Asturias police said.
Police said the victim was sleeping with her siblings in their room when the father arrived.
The father entered the room and allegedly raped the girl.
Police said the victim’s 11-year-old sister woke up when the victim shouted for help.
Police said the sister was beaten by her father when she stopped him from abusing the victim.
When the father fell asleep after the incident, the victim and her sisters went to their’ aunt’s house and sought help.
The aunt reported to the police that resulted in the father’s arrest.
