Husband stabs, injures wife in spat
A 38-YEAR-OLD man stabbed his wife after they argued at home in barangay Ibabao, Cordova town off Mactan Island, Cebu.
Joseph Ferrer surrendered to the police a day after the incident.
Police said Joseph and his wife Ana argued last Wednesday night. The argument escalated when the man took a kitchen knife and stabbed his wife in the back.
The wife was brought by relatives to the hospital. The next day, Joseph surrendered to the Lapu-Lapu City Office and was later turned over to the Cordova police./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
