Woman found dead in Argao
THE body of a woman believed to have been robbed and killed was found dumped in a ditch in barangay Motong, Argao town, southern Cebu.
Adelisa Ravano, 65, was found with head injuries.
Police said the woman left home Wednesday and failed to return home since then.
George Magallanes, the victim’s nephew, told police they discounted the possibility that the woman accidentally fell into the ditch since there were traces of blood within the farm where the woman had gone before she went missing.
The victim on Wednesday morning told her relatives that she was going to the farm to uproot bushes.
“She had money after selling copra. It could be a motive to the crime,” said Magallanes in an interview with TV Patrol-Central Visayas.
