Two armed men who concealed their faces with bandannas took a pickup truck from a businesswoman and her companion Thursday morning in front of a bar in Makati City.
Leernie G. Cabrera, 28, and her companion, Robert Obrique, said they were inside the Ford Ranger (TIO 357) on A. P. Reyes Street in Barangay Olympia when two men pointed guns at them and took over the pickup truck at 1 a.m.
SPO2 Jun Rabanal of the Makati Police anticar theft unit said that while the incident was an “isolated case,” the police would beef up its visibility in the area to avoid similar incidents. Noli Ermitanio
