Vendor killed by fellow vendor

A 23-YEAR-OLD vendor was stabbed dead by another vendor in barangay Ermita, Cebu City.

Eugene Labrador and her live-in partner were selling vegetables when he was attacked by Elijardo Cortez, 30, at 4:40 a.m. yesterday, police said.

Labrador was declared dead at the Cebu City Medical Center.

Responding tanods arrested Cortes and brought him to the police precinct.

Police said jealousy could be the motive in the attack.
