Chinese volunteers get fire-proof suits

VICSAL Foundation Inc., a corporate foundation of Metro Gaisano, turned over 44 sets of brand new fireproof suits to Cebu Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade Inc.  (CFCVFB).

The fire-proof suits,  which included helmets, vests, boots, rope bags and gloves, will help firemen battle through a smoke and flames to rescue senior citizens, children and persons with disabilities in the event of fire.

Fire Chief Johnny Chik received the donation from Vicsal Foundation president Edward S. Gaisano.

CFCVFB is a socio-civic organization founded by the representatives of Cebu Filipino-Chinese United Community.

The VSF has been a donor to Chinese fire brigade since 2007.
