Pa stabs, injures son for disrespecting him

A MAN stabbed his son whom he said has been disrespecting him.

The incident happened after they argued while having dinner in their house in barangay Busay, Cebu City past 10 p.m. Thursday.

Pablo Nazareno was arrested by barangay tanods outside his house.

Pablo’s 18-year-old son Paul was taken to the Cebu City Medical Center with a stab wound in the body.

Prior to the incident, the father and son had a drinking session.

The two men then had dinner where they figured in a heated argument.

Police said Paul threw a plate at his father and went out of the house.

Pablo followed his son and attacked him with a knife.

Pablo said he has been carrying a bladed weapon to protect himself in case his son attacks him. He said he got fed up by his son’s behavior./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
