Hotel unveils Christmas Tree for charity anew

Cebu City Marriott hotel marked the start of the Yuletide Season with their annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony and the unveiling of Crocs Christmas Tree.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, Korean Association chairman Ken Choi, Cebu City Marriott Hotel’s general manager Bruce Winton and sales and marketing director Chacha Rama led the guests in hanging the first pair of Crocs footwear on the Crocs Christmas Tree, followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree.

Now on its third year, Cebu City Marriott Hotel once again partnered with Crocs footwear for the Crocs Christmas Tree project at the hotel lobby.

The Crocs Christmas Tree aims to provide the underprivileged schoolchildren with hygienic Crocs footwear that they can use in their daily activities.

At least 100 children are targeted to benefit from the project.

The hotel welcomes all to be part of the advocacy.

Guests are encouraged to visit the Crocs Christmas Tree and donate a minimum amount of P500 for them to hang a pair of Crocs slippers on the tree.

The cash donation will be given to World Vision’s Noche Buena project for its family beneficiaries, while the 100 pairs of Crocs will be turned over to the Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. in Talamban and Children’s Haven Foundation in Lapu-Lapu City.
