Peeping Tom arrested

A jobless Peeping Tom found himself behind bars in Quezon City after he was caught red-handed spying on his landlady who was taking a nighttime bath.

Jose Rufino, 48, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. by watchmen of Barangay Pasong Tamo who responded to the cry for help of the victim, who saw him taking a peek outside the bathroom window.

Case investigator PO3 George Madrid of the Talipapa police station said they are preparing unjust vexation charges against the suspect, who rents a room on Herminigilda Street from the 36-year-old businesswoman.

The victim told police that she was taking a shower that night when she noticed a person outside peeping through a window.

She then went out to check who was watching her and saw Rufino standing on a plastic stool outside the bathroom. Julie M. Aurelio
