THE Ten Outstanding Persons With Disabilities of Negros Oriental Alumni Community (TOPWD-AC) will hold the recognition rites to award the finalists and winners of the Search for ‘BEST in Dumaguete City: First Stretch’ on Dec. 10 at Robinsons Place, Dumaguete City.

Dubbed as Search for Barrier-Free ESTablishment in Dumaguete City (BEST),  the activity aims to recognize establishments in the city that have instituted accessibility features in their businesses for PWDs, senior citizens, pregnant women and those with physical limitations, said TOPWD Interim Committee chair Philip Vilos.

The TOPWD-AC initiated the search with the Great Physician Rehabilitation, Dumaguete City Engineer’s Office, Department of Public Works and Highways Negros Oriental, Dumaguete City Social Welfare and Development Office and the Dumaguete City Tourism Office.
