Manila policemen killed a suspected passenger jeep robber in a shoot-out on Monday, a police report said.
Chief Inspector Joey de Ocampo, head of the Manila Police District homicide section, said three robbers had just gotten off a passenger jeep at the corner of Road 10 and Sandico Streets in Tondo at 11:15 p.m. when they encountered the policemen from the MPD Station 2.
A shoot-out occurred, leaving one of the robbery suspects dead while his two cohorts managed to escape.
De Ocampo said the slain robber has yet to be identified although he had a Commando Gang tattoo on his body. Nancy C. Carvajal
