Man wanted for stabbing nephew over missing tool

The Valenzuela police have started looking for a man accused of stabbing his nephew over a missing hammer over the weekend.

Charges of frustrated homicide await 50-year-old Eddie Pascual, a resident of L. Bernardino Street in Barangay Gen. T. de Leon, after he stabbed his nephew, 33-year-old Michael Pascual, on Sunday.

Initial investigation showed that the stabbing happened in the house the two shared.

Earlier, Eddie confronted Michael about his missing hammer and the two figured in a verbal tussle.

As the argument grew more heated, Eddie, in a fit of rage, attacked and stabbed Michael.

The victim, who sustained a single stab wound in his abdomen, was rushed to Valenzuela City Emergency Hospital for treatment.

Policemen who responded to a call for help failed to find Eddie who fled hastily after the encounter.
