Demecillo, Tuyor banner Fight of the Future tonight

REIGNING Philippine super flyweight champion Marco Demecillo Singwangcha and his opponent Jessie Tuyor both weighed in at 118.8 lbs for their ten-round, non-title contest tonight at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.

In the co-main event, “Buhay Boksingero” super flyweight winner Gerpaul Valero of the Flores Boxing Stable of Mandaue City will fight against Ronnie Sunido of Zamboanga City in another non-title bout. Valero weighed 112.4 while Sunido tipped the scales at 111.6 lbs.

The official weigh-in was held yesterday noon at the Flores boxing gym in Mandaue City supervised by Rolando Mendoza of GAB-Cebu.

The fight card billed as “Fighters of the Future” will also feature six more bouts on the undercards featuring Ardie Boyosi vs. Dondon Narvaez (8 rounds); Jayson Redondo Singwangcha vs. Jomar Ministerio (8 rounds); Sesustener Llanera Singwangcha vs. Jesson Inso (6 rounds); Belmar Plaza vs. Richard Rosales (6 rounds); Neil John Tabanao Singwangcha vs. Jerome Baja (4 rounds) and Joey Canoy Singwangcha who will make his pro debut against Gary Rojo in a four rounder.
