ATENEO de Cebu (AdC) will try to strengthen its girls 17 title retention bid as it guns for its second win in the tournament against Cebu International School (CIS) in today’s resumption of the 15th Aboitiz Football Cup at the Aboitiz Sports Field in barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
CIS, on the other hand, will try to redeem itself from a 0-9 routing against University of San Carlos (USC) last weekend.
Other matches in the category will see Bright Academy going up against St. Theresa’s College and South Hills Int’l facing San Roque Football Club (SRFC).
In the boys 14, Canduman, Springdale A, Subangdaku FC and USC-BED will also be vying for their second win in a row today.
Canduman and Springdale A will go up against each other, Subangdaku FC will face AdC B, while USC-BED will take on Springdale B.
The Centre for International Education (CIE) will also face Bright Academy while AdC A will square off against Hijas de Jesus.
Hoping to barge into the win column in the boys 12 are Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS), which plays Bright Academy; Springdale, which faces Bright Minds in Action Learning Village (BMALV); Warshockz, which takes on Hijas de Jesus and Dinamo South, which goes up against Holy Infant School.
