/ 10:12 PM November 29, 2012

Two heavily-tattooed men were found dead Thursday morning inside a property of the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman,  Quezon City.

The bodies of the two men, who were believed to be members of jail-based gangs, were stuffed in black garbage bags and dumped at Pook Arboretum, Barangay UP Campus in Philcoa.

They also bore stab wounds and strangulation marks. A report from the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU) said the bodies were discovered by a pedestrian around 5 a.m. on a tree-covered area on Arboretum Street.

The victims’ tattoos bore the names and markings of the Commando, Sputnik and Sigue-Sigue gangs. Jeannette I. Andrade
