Caloocan reroutes traffic for Bonifacio Day

Motorists should brace themselves for heavy traffic in Caloocan City this Friday morning.

In commemoration of the national hero’s 149th birthday, the local government is holding a brief program at the monument of Andres Bonifacio starting at 6 a.m.

However, the Department of Public Safety and Traffic Management announced that the southbound lane of Edsa near the monument would be closed starting at 5 a.m.

It advised Edsa-bound motorists from Samson Road and Rizal Avenue Extension to turn on B. Serrano Street while those coming from 10th Avenue may turn right on Rizal Avenue Extension to go to Manila.
