2 summary execution victims found in QC

MANILA, Philippines—The bodies of two suspected victims of summary execution were recovered in Quezon City before dawn Thursday, police said.

Senior Police Officer 1 Joselito Gagasa said the bodies of the still unidentified male victims were found at the University of the Philippines (UP) Arboretum Forestry in Barangay (village) UP Campus, Quezon City around 5 a.m.

Gagasa said the first victim stood 5’3” tall and was found with ligature marks and several stab wounds in his body, while the other stood 5’1” tall and also had stab wounds in the chest and in the back.

Both were about 45 to 50 years old, the duty desk officer said.

He said authorities have yet to identify the motive behind the killing, as well as the names of the victims. Jamie Marie Elona
