Foxtrat leads Cekalco hoop

TEAM Foxtrat earned its second straight win after drubbing Bravo, 90-74, Saturday night to snare the early lead in the Center Katipunan A. Lopez Christian Organization (CEKALCO) 2012 Christmas basketball tournament at the Sitio A. Lopez open court.

Foxtrat led from start to finish and posted its biggest lead of 24 points, 68-44, at the end of the third quarter.

Reynaldo Tabasa led Foxtrat with a game-high 19 points while Dodong Desoyo, Arvin Zafra and Moises Craso added 18 points each. Dondon Tenchavez paced Bravo with 14 markers.

In the other game, Team Echo crushed winless Alpha Team, 80-71, for its first win in two games (1-1).

FEATURED STORIES

Alpha had a strong start and led, 17-8 but cooled the rest of the way allowing Team Echo to steal the win.

Don Catong had a night-high 30 points for Team Echo while Nelson Solana and Jimbo Villarosa added 15 points apiece. Danny Desoyo and Kenneth Beltran paced Alpha with 15 and 14 points.
