MANILA, Philippines — Occasional light to moderate rainshowers were seen in parts of the country due to an intertropical convergence zone in Mindanao and a cold front in Batanes Group of Islands, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with occasional light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms while Cagayan Valley region will experience light rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy with isolated brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to east with slight to moderate seas.
