Traffic moderate in most major thoroughfares—MMDA

MANILA, Philippines – Traffic is moderate in most major thoroughfares in Metro Manila, authorities said Wednesday.

Vincent Lizada, communications officer of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Metrobase, described as moderate the traffic situation along the Edsa southbound lane of Balintawak Cloverleaf, Shaw Boulvard going to Boni and Buendia; and the northbound lane from FB Harrison to Edsa Taft Rotonda, Orense to Guadalupe Bridge, Gate 3 of Camp Aguinaldo to Main Avenue.

Traffic on the southbound lane of Edsa from Kamuning to Santolan Road is moderate to heavy and light along C5, Lizada said.

Lizada also said that no flooded areas were reported as of 2:30 p.m. following the rains brought by Tropical Storm “Juaning”.
