MANILA, Philippines—The Supreme Court suspended Wednesday work in all courts in Metro Manila, high court spokesman and administrator Jose Midas Marquez said.
Marquez, in a phone interview, said that besides the lower courts, the order of Chief Justice Renato Corona covers the Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan and Court of Tax Appeals.
“Suspension of work in other typhoon-affected areas will be at the discretion of the executive judges,” Marquez said.
