SHS-Ateneo de Cebu Christmas fair to benefit surrounding community

THE Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) will hold its annual Christmas fair on Sunday, Nov. 25 at the campus grounds in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

The fair with the theme “Persons for others, heroes for Christ” seeks to raise funds for the benefit of the surrounding communities and various institutions. Last year’s fair benefited more than 1,000 families and 15 institutions.

This year’s fair will feature a series of cultural presentations featuring a concert by the Mandaue Children and Youth Choir at 2 p.m., “Gonz for Earth” by the SHS-AdC delegation that performed in Indonesia recently, the “Back to Manger Concert 2” at 10:30 a.m. and the Hearter Glee’s “The First Christmas” at 3:30 p.m.

The Ateneo de Cebu dance troupe and Blue Dance Crew will also perform before an estimated 4,000 people composed of students, their families and guests and school staff.

The fair will also feature game booths, music booths, food booths, rides and bazaar.

The day will start with a Holy Mass at 7:45 a.m. The program proper is set at 9 a.m.
