Parish organizations to hold recollection
THE Sacred Heart Parish Formation Committee and the Sacred Heart Parish Ladies Association are sponsoring two activities this Advent season.
On Dec. 8, they will hold a recollection from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s Hall on Sacred Heart Center on D. Jakosalem Street, Cebu City. The resource person is Fr. Karel San Juan, SJ, executive director of Emmaus Center for Psycho Spiritual Formation. He holds a doctorate degree in Leadership Studies specializing on Ignatian Sprituality and Leadership from Gonzaga University, USA.
An Advent sharing in Cebuano will also be facilitated by Bro. Carlito Gaspar, CssR on Dec. 4 (Part 1) and on Dec. 18 (Part 2) from 7:30 p.m. 9 p.m. at the St. Francis Chapel, Archdiocesan Shrine of the Sacred Heart Parish compound. Gaspar is a Mindanao church worker, anthropologist, writer and peace advocate. He is also a recipient of Archbishop Clovis Thibault Award from the Ateneo de Davao University.
Admission is free. Packed lunch at P100 will be available for Dec. 8 recollection for those who will stay at Sacred Heart Center during lunch break.
