Taxi driver loses earnings, cab to thieves

/ 10:37 PM November 12, 2012

Maybe the money was just not enough. Not contented with stealing a taxi driver’s earnings of P2,600, a still unidentified woman and two men also took his cab Monday morning, forcing him to walk all the way to the police station to report his double loss.

According to a report reaching the Pasig City Police, Fernando Geolingo, 36, was driving his taxi with plate number TWW 701, when the three got into his vehicle and asked him to bring them to Pasig at 1 a.m. But when they reached Shaw Boulevard, the three declared a heist.

Geolingo said one of his passengers took over the wheel, drove to Sandoval Avenue in Barangay (village) Pinagbuhatan and ordered him to get out.—Kristine Felisse Mangunay
