6 OLD BOMBS FOUND
SIX VINTAGE bombs were found by a farmer in barangay Poblacion, Dalaguete town, southern Cebu.
Felix Serenio unearthed the World War 2 bombs while cultivating his farm in sitio Guiwanon past 7 a.m yesterday.
Serenio turned over the bombs to barangay officials who then brought the explosives to the Dalaguete Municipal Motor Pool Compound for safekeeping.

MAN DROWNS OFF MADRIDEJOS
A 70-YEAR-OLD man drowned while spearfishing with his brother in the waters off barangay Malbago, MadrIdejos town, northern Cebu.
Marcial Chavez may have suffered a heart attack while catching fish past 3 p.m. last Friday.
The victim’s younger brother, Crescencio, told police that while they were spearfishing in shallow water, he reminded his brother not to take long because of his hypertension.
His brother went to a separate direction. Crescencio found him an hour later floating unconscious.
The younger brother carried the victim to shore and asked help from residents.

MAN GUNNED DOWN IN TALISAY
A 41-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding assailant in barangay Pilipog, Cordova town in Mactan Island, Cebu.
Robin Baguio was talking with friends in a garage when he was shot in the chest past 1 p.m. last Friday.
Police said the gunman was armed with a .45 pistol.
The unidentified assailant fled on a motorcycle driven by a cohort.
Before the shooting, an unidentified man was seen in the area looking for Baguio.
