Red Cross Humanity Run on

AROUND 1,400 runners will answer the starting gun for today’s Red Cross Humanity Run starting at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.

The running event is aimed to raise funds for the Philippine Red Cross Lapu-Lapu/Cordova Chapter’s relief operations. It also aims to help enhancement training programs and finance the 24/7 ambulance service operations. The running event is also held in line with the annual fiesta celebration of Lapu-Lapu City’s patron Our Lady of the Rule on Nov. 21.

The race features 500-meter, 1-kilometer, 3k,  6k, 12k and 21k distances.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
