Mandaue to put up 36 security cameras in market
THE Mandaue city government has set aside P1.7 million to buy 36 security cameras for the new Mandaue City public market at the reclamation area.
The project still has to undergo public bidding.

He said this would help deter crimes in the market and help police identify perpetrators in incidents of robbery, pickpocketing, pilferage and other offenses.
“We can immediately stop bad elements this way,” he said.
A consumer assistance desk has been set up near the vegetable section of the market to assist customers especially those who ask for the location of various stalls.
