Senior Inspector Joey de Ocampo, Manila Police District’s Homicide division chief, said that Police Officer 3 Ronald Fontejon, assigned with Camp Crame’s Police Security Protection Group, turned himself in Wednesday night.
Ocampo said Fontejon admitted killing his live-in partner identified sa Kylie Ann Barocca, 30, inside Traveller’s Inn in Sampaloc, Manila last Sunday in the presence of their two children, allegedly after the victim refused to get back with him.
Barocca’s body was found inside the toilet of the room they rented at the motel. Earlier reports had it that a room boy heard the children crying, prompting him to check what’s going on.
“The woman no longer wanted to live with him because when she became pregnant he did not show up and he only came back after she gave birth. On more thing, the victim was scheduled to leave for Qatar where she applied as truck driver,” de Ocampo added.
