Vendor killed while boozing with cousins

A fish vendor was killed by two men on a motorcycle in Quezon City Sunday night.

Rolando Minoso, 38, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead upon reaching the East Avenue Medical Center. Case investigator Senior Police Officer 1 Cristituto Zaldarriaga said Minoso was shot while having a drink with some relatives in front of his home on Kaligtasan Street, Barangay (village) Holy Spirit.

Zaldarriaga said he was checking if the killing could be linked to the victim’s involvement in cockfighting in the community.—Julie M. Aurelio
