WARRANT SERVED AGAINST KIDNAP SUSPECT
POLICE on Tuesday served the arrest warrant for murder charges against Richard Dealagdon who is currently detained at the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) for a kidnapping case.
Chief Insp. Sara Jean Recla, chief of the homicide section of CCPO), served the warrant issued Oct. 7, 2010 by Regional Trial Court Judge Simeon Dumdum.
Dealagdon was one of four suspects linked to the kidnapping of Korean Jun Hyun Chung and his live-in partner Charisse last week.
The other suspects are Dealagdon’s cousin, Gregorio Dealagdon, Leanardo Bolabon and Korean national, Song Sung Heum, 33.
Police said Richard was accused of killing Victor Jose Gabian Verano Sr. on 2009 in barangay Guadalupe./Correspondent Chito O. Aragon
FARMER SHOT, HURT BY BROD-IN-LAW
A 49-YEAR-OLD farmer was shot and wounded by his brother-in-law in barangay Candabong, Alcantara town, southern Cebu.
Dalmacio Ungria was tending to his farm when he was shot in the left arm by Ethel Sabandal past 3 p.m. last Monday.
Sabandal fled after the shooting. Ungria was recuperating in a hospital.
Police said a personal grudge could be the motive in the shooting./Correspondent Joy Cherry S. Quito
