Fire hits PDAF building in Makati
MANILA, Philippines—A government establishment was gutted by a pre-dawn fire in Makati City Wednesday, a National Capital Region Bureau of Fire Protection officer said.
Fire Officer 2 Huber Moral said the fire at the Philippine Development Alternative Foundation (PDAF) building along Barangay(village) Bel-Air in Makati City started at 12:27 p.m.
The blaze reached second alarm before it was completely put out at 4:15 a.m., he said.
While investigators have yet to determine the cause of fire, radio reports said the fire may have started from the third floor of the building.
No one was reported hurt, reports said.
