Ofel grounds 32 domestic flights
MANILA, Philippines – At least 32 flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport were cancelled Thursday due to bad weather brought by Tropical Storm “Ofel.”
At Naia Terminal 3, Cebu Pacific Air cancelled flights to Caticlan, Ozamiz, Legazpi, Naga, Busuanga and Pagadian, and their return trips. Two Caticlan-Manila flights with no return trips were also cancelled.
Air Philippines also cancelled flights to Masbate and Caticlan, and their return trips.
Zest Air also cancelled flights to Masbate and Marinduque.
Naia state operator Manila International Airport Authority called on the air passengers to keep in touch with the airlines for cancellations and rebooking procedures.
