Man shot dead by friend in Argao
A MAN was shot and killed by his friend in barangay Bulasa, Argao town, southern Cebu.
Edgar Saseda Entera was found slumped on the ground at 5 a.m. last Sunday with a gunshot wound in the head.
The suspect, Ranel Natividad, is now detained at the Argao police precinct.
Joe Kenn Diez, who was with the victim and the suspect during the incident, surrendered to the police to shed light on the incident.
The three men came from a drinking session before the shooting.
Diez told police that they went to a poultry farm in Argao to buy chickens last Sunday night. The three friends rode a motorcycle driven by Diez.
Diez said Natividad got upset when they failed to buy chickens.
Diez said he heard Entera threatening to kill Entera.
Diez said he was shocked when he saw Natividad draw a gun and shot Entera.
The next moring, a barangay tanod Entera slumped on the ground and reported to the police.
