Militants gather at St. Peter’s Church

MANILA, Philippines – Militants, led by Bayan, have begun converging at the St. Peter’s Parish along Commonwealth in Quezon City, ahead of President Benigno Aquino III’s State of the Nation Address in Congress.

Also joining Bayan were, among others, the Kilusang Mayo Uno, Anakpawis, and Gabriela.

The militants also brought an effigy of Aquino.
