Swiss envoy turns over newly renovated classrooms to Leyte school

SWISS Ambassador to the Philippines Ivo Sieber turned over three newly renovated classrooms to Apale Elementary School in Isabel, Leyte last Sept. 26.

The renovation project was completed through a special fund granted by the Embassy of Switzerland that was coursed through the Pasar Foundation Inc. (PFI), a corporate foundation of the Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corporation in Isabel. Other dignitaries present during the ceremonies were Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland Leslie Baja and Vatican Monsignor Gabor Pinter.

The group was also accompanied by PFI president Manuel del Rosario, PFI executive director Ruben Cajigas and Isabel municipal councilor Godfrey Alcantara.
