TALISAY City remained unbeaten with a 72-67 win over Carcar in the Gullas Cup First District of Cebu Basketball Tournament last Saturday at the Municipality of San Fernando Sports Complex.
Talisay City extended its winning streak to three in as many games, thanks to the effort of Arvie Cabanero, who scored 20 points. Carcar dropped to 2-1 (win-loss).
Meanwhile, Minglanilla bounced back from a loss to Talisay after escaping San Fernando, 74-72.
San Fernando dropped its third straight loss.
