ZAMBOANGA CITY – Moro National Liberation Front leader Nur Misuari on Thursday vowed to “never forgive” the peace panel behind the framework peace agreement between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and disclosed that he was summoned by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

“The Bangsamoro people will remember October 12 and October 15, these days when they manipulated the so-called talks that ended in what they claimed as Framework Agreement. October 12 is the day when they signed the agreement in Malaysia and October 15 is another signing of agreement in the Philippines and the Bangsamoro people will never forgive these people,” said Misuari in his home where he was preparing to meet MNLF commanders from various areas in Mindanao.

Misuari told the Philippine Daily Inquirer that he got a call from an official of the influential OIC but did not elaborate.

He then repeated his criticism of the framework agreement, even calling the Philippine peace panel “heartless people.”

While Misuari was ranting about the peace deal and how “illegal” it was, officials of the Autonomous region in Muslim Mindanao, led by Governor-in-charge Mujiv Hataman, and members of civil society groups left Cotabato City on a “Peace Caravan” for Manila.

The group hopes to reach Malacañang in time for the signing of the framework agreement on Monday.
