Tough competition seen in Lash Badminton Cup

THE second Lash Badminton Cup is expected to be a tougher and more exciting competition with cash and exciting prizes going to the category winners.

The tournament is scheduled on Nov. 17-18, at the Lash Badminton Club in Tipolo, Mandaue City.

Dozens of badminton aficionados are expected to join the competition which stakes an overnight stay worth P5,000 at the Malaspacua Legend Resort as the top prize.

The tournament categories are men’s doubles levels C, D, E and F, Men’s 40-above level D and E, women’s doubles levels D, E and F and mixed doubles D, E and F.

Registration fee is pegged at P700 inclusive of the tournament shirt. The leveling date and deadline of submission of entries will be on Nov. 10.

Aside from the overnight stay in Malaspacua Island, the category champions will also take home P1,500 in cash while the runners-up will receive P1,000 worth of Yonex bag and trophies.
