4 MEN NABBED FOR MARIJUANA

POLICE arrested four men who were allegedly caught sniffing marijuana inside a two-story house in barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City.

Police said the house was believed to be a drug den.

Reynante Barral, 38; Elson Alberio, 28; Gibson Mamac, 29; and Agimar Ysulan, 18; will be charged for illegal possession of dangerous drugs and visiting a drug den, said police.

MAN STABBED BY NEIGHBOR

A 23-YEAR-OLD was stabbed and wounded by his neighbor in barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

Jomar Inoc was wounded in the back. His attacker, Edwin Ando, 38, surrendered to the police after the incident, which happened in a vigil wake in sitio Sudtongan last Saturday afternoon.

The trouble broke out while the two men were playing a card game with neighbors.

Police said while the game was ongoing, Inoc and some of the neighbors broke into laughter.

Ando thought that his neighbors were making fun at him.

Ando suddenly punched Inoc before pulling out a Swiss knife, which he used in stabbing his neighbor.

Ando was brought to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
