MANILA, Philippines—The weather bureau issued a thunderstorm advisory in several areas in Metro Manila early Monday morning.
“Thunderstorm affecting Manila, San Juan, Pasig, and Mandaluyong is expected to affect Pasay, Makati, Taguig & Pateros within an hour,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its Twitter post at 1:40 a.m.
Pagasa advised residents to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong gusty winds, lightning and possible flash floods.
