Man nabbed in gun raid

POLICE arrested a man whose house yielded assorted firearms in a raid in barangay Pakigne, Minglanilla town, southern Cebu.

Drug paraphernalia were also seized from the house of Romy Ramas, 26, said police.

A search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Soliver Peras was used in the raid conducted by operatives of the Regional Special Operation Group (RSOG) past 7 a.m. last Tuesday.

Seized guns included two .45 pistols, a 9mm pistol and an improvised rifle.

Ramas, who was detained at Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), refused to comment on his arrest.

Police said the raid was made after they received reports that Ramas was seen brandishing firearms outside his house./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
