Food store employee found stabbed dead in QC

MANILA, Philippines — A 25-year-old shawarma store employee was found stabbed to death in his shop along Tandang Sora Avenue in Barangay Sangandaan in Quezon City.
The incident took place on Saturday evening but the body was found the following morning, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Based on the initial investigation… the suspect, who was 22-years-old and a former employee of the said store, entered the premises and forcibly dragged the victim into the kitchen area where he repeatedly stabbed the victim before escaping,” the QCPD detailed.
The police said it was currently conducting a hot pursuit operation against the suspect.
“The QCPD is appealing to the public to help and immediately report any information that may lead to the quick apprehension of the suspect,” the police added.
