SHS-AdC, UV on collision course for Milo Best title

THE reigning champions, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles and the University of the Visayas aim to set up another title showdown when the two squads clash with separate opponents in the long-awaited semifinals of the 2012 Milo-backed BEST Twin Tournament, this Saturday at the SHS-AdC basketball court along Mango Avenue.

Ateneo de Cebu and UV recently fought for the juniors crown in the Cesafi with the Eagles prevailing via a series sweep, 3-0. UV will be itching for payback but will have to first take care of Cebu Eastern College Dragons for a berth in the finals. SHS-AdC, undefeated once more in the tournament, will be taking on the University of San Carlos.

The championship game will be staged the following day, Sunday, at the Benedicto College gym along AS Fortuna in Mandaue City. Tip-off has been set at 3:15 p.m. following the battle for third place match at 2 p.m. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
