Estrada, Moreno file candidacy papers at Comelec

MANILA, Philippines—Former president Joseph Estrada and Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno on Tuesday filed their certificates of candidacy at the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Estrada will go against Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim who is seeking a third term while Moreno will seek a reelection and will clash with Lim’s running mate actor-comedian Lou Veloso.

The Estrada and Moreno tandem is the official candidate of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
They were accompanied by a motorcade of fire trucks, jeepneys and supporters all in orange from Estrada’s house in Manga Avenue in Sta. Mesa to Bonifacio Shrine and Manila City Hall before going to Comelec.
