Cebu City Medical Center: Thankful at 51
AS one of the pioneer health care institutions in the Queen City of the South, Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) continues to stand as a hospital with a heart for its patients.
For 51 years now, CCMC has been keeping true to its commitment of providing integral and holistic health care services to the Cebuanos.
Part of its mission is to provide patients with an environment that promotes ethical, high-quality and cost-effective services.
CCMC kicked off its 51st anniversary with a sportsfest for its employees last Sept. 1 at barangay Pahina Central gymnasium.
The event was followed by a medical-surgical mission, feeding program and bloodletting in barangay Inayawan on Sept. 8, barangay Malubog on Sept. 15 and barangay Budlaan on Sept. 22.
Yesterday, Oct. 1, the CCMC Alumni Association of Resident Physicians (CAARP) and City Hospital Association of Resident Physicians (CHAR), held their first Fellowship at the hospital’s St. Ezekiel Morena auditorium.
Article continues after this advertisementTomorrow, Oct. 3, CCMC will again hold a bloodletting program on from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the hospital’s lobby.
Article continues after this advertisementA grand celebration will cap off the founding anniversary on Oct. 4 at the hospital grounds. The program will start with a Holy Mass at 9 a.m. It will be followed by the blessing of CCMC’s burn unit, customer service counter, TRDT office, newly renovated emergency room and central supply and backyard garden.
With the theme “Thankful at 51,” CCMC wanted to welcome its 51st year by giving humanitarian service to all.
As a gesture of goodwill, CCMC will share some food and goodies with all its patients during the celebration.
Located on N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City, CCMC offers medical/dental, ancillary services, nursing and administrative services with satellite emergency hospitals in the mountain barangays of Guba and Bonbon in Cebu City. /DARLENE REGIS
