UP Law Class 1987 marks school’s anniversary
IN celebration of the 101st founding anniversary of the University of the Philippines College of Law, this year’s Silver Jubilarians, the U.P. Law Class of 1987, will present a new experience for the U.P. College of Law Alumni Homecoming Gala.
The event will showcase performances by the country’s entertainers, Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, Yeng Constantino, Janet Basco, Nico Antonio and Jon Santos.
It will be held on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel, with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile as guest speaker.
The show will be hosted by Eugene Domingo and directed by Johnny Manahan.

BICC sets general membership meeting
THE Bosconian International Chamber of Commerce (BICC) Cebu Chapter will hold its 9th general membership meeting on Oct. 3, Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Rendezvouz RestoBar and Grill in Carreta, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.
In celebration of its 2nd anniversary and the observance of the 20th National Children’s Month, the BICC Cebu invited Juanito “June” Luna to be its guest speaker.
Luna will talk on “Child-ing the parent, parenting the child: The art of bridging the gap between the x-generation and the generation x.”
Luna studied BS Entrepreneurship at the University of Santo Tomas. He and his wife founded the Prosel Pharmaceuticals, which manufactures generic drugs like antibiotics, anti-asthma, paracetamol, analgesic and altipyretics. He has been providing talks for the past nine years on anger management, alphanumeric principle, shopping mall syndrome and harmonizing with time and nature, among others.
